If your project needs extra PAR, lumens, or a completely customized combination of high-power LEDs, here's where you can create a truly custom spectrum for the same price as our preconfigured fixtures. Start by selecting your preferred fixture length, and then use the "drag and drop" tool below to create a 12" circuit board with any 15 LEDs of your choice. Finally, choose the beam angle you want us to build into your fixture. Fixtures contain one circuit board per foot, except the 18" fixture which contains one board and the 30" fixture which contains two boards. We will repeat your custom LED pattern every 12" in your fixture. Your fixture will be hand built in Texas and carries a three year unconditional warranty against defects in workmanship or materials.
Over 500 million color options are possible!
*Note: UV LEDs carry a $1 per LED surcharge

Great lights, leds are super bright and everything is built with quality. Will be buying more

I stopped looking for my light, a BML custom, over a 12x36", 30 gallon, hanging 7" above the water - at this height there's a real nice shimmer to the tank and still there's PAR over 50umol, 12" under water - very nice, BML!
The plants are going to need a lot of CO2 w/this light. But, you knew that, right?
The dimmer options, they're nice too. Not a bad option to have, if you asked me.

Man, man, man, I'm definitely impressed with BML's quality. How it's hand-made and super sleek, fixture is flawless(they even modified it to 17.5" from the original 18" for me at no additional cost). And thanks to Apexdv, my corals wouldn't get melted because I have the dimmer controller...the light is hella bright. Too bright actually. Light is custom with my choosing of leds.
Here's a teaser.

Very happy with the complete transaction. From the assistance of building to my requirements to the delivery and set-up. Hopefully in several months I can display the plants success with some photos for you to see!

We ordered our custom set up on Thursday and had them by MOnday. Nick was a great help and the lights look great.

I purchased a 48" back in January. I loved it so much that I purchased a 12" for my sons Nano cube. I have the great tank mounts on them and have the light just sitting on the ends of the tank. (I am not a fan of canopy's, so I opt for the mounts.) For both set ups, I went with the 14K custom design (with UV) and have zero regrets. I also have the lights controlled by my apex for the dimming function. Two different tanks, same room (opposite walls), one apex all because I bought the apex cable for the first light. It gives the option to control two lights with same cable. For my 75 gallon, I have the spectrum intensity at 90% and for the nano, just 30%. May just go as high as 40, maybe 50 at the most because it is only sitting approximately 3-4 inches above water line.
Again, great product, great company, very knowledgeable staff who know what they are talking about. Spoke to Nick and Randy several occasions. Thanks guys!!! Looking forward to the latest product you have on the design table.
P.S. I have a 180 Gallon build in the future! Looking for more control on each color this time. (Hint Hint):)

I ordered the 72' for a 120g planted tank with goldfish. I know very little about LEDs and nick made the configuration for me. I haven't been disappointed. My lights are growing better (than with a T5) and have more bright greens and reds. The goldfish pop against the green of the plants. Their oranges and golds are bright and scales are shiny. Overall this was a great investment.

I purchased a 36in custom fixture to help fill out the spectral range missing from my ai sols. While the fixture has only been running over my tank for about two weeks, so far I am very pleased with my sps coral response--definite increase in vigor and coloration. The fixture appears to be very well made and installation was a snap. Good product and nice people to deal with.

Very happy about the new lights. Been using the reef spectrum on an SPS nano reef for a while with great success. The freshwater version is very good as well. Using 2 fixtures on a 100 gallon co2 tank.

1. Awesome customer service. Nick was above and beyond.
2. Once you do the math these lights are a better value than bulbs.
3. I have a homemade 65 gallon planted, in the <two months it's been up most of my plants have doubled in size. I planted very light and used water hyacinth, limited light hours, and a UV filter to manage the initial algae spike.
4. As i was experimenting, and before i hung the lights i set them on the edge of the tank and probably dunked them 4 times. I took one apart and examined it, no issues. Apparently they are siliconed as ehn constructed. Please keep doing this.
5. The lights run med hot, not bad.
6. Very bright, i use the included dimmer and frequently run these at 2/3rds. Make sure your design doesn't have you looking at the light from across the room.
7.I have yet to see a lot of reds in my plants, i look forward to hearing others input. The reds in the fish and shrimp are nicely pronounced.
8.Great mounting options. They come preconfigured for a simple chain hanging.
9. Very low profile, i guess they also come in black now?
10. I get a great shimmer by agitating the surface with a water mover, this also better distributes the light. Light penetration is excellent.
11. Overall i'm exceedingly happy.

All 15 LEDs must be selected in order to generate performance charts and report.
We use average spectroradiometric data for each LED type to estimate fixture performance and perform these tests in a laboratory environment. In practice your actual photometric results may vary. In addition, LED output will vary slightly both in spectral content and radiometric flux within the LED manufacturer’s bin tolerance. In normal use these variances are insignificant. If you are using a fixture in a research environment please contact us and we can provide performance details for the specific fixture if need be. The performance details we publish are taken from actual production fixtures and therefore include optical, thermal and electrical losses. They therefore meet the guidelines established in the official IES test protocol for measuring light output of solid-state lighting products. Some companies only list the performance specifications of the LED, which is not an accurate method of assessing the radiometric performance of a finished lighting system.
